Thursday School Visits

On Thursday we started the day at Bat Valley with classroom visits. Unfortunately, recent rains prevented us from playing our scheduled football (soccer) match against the children -- the only match we stand any chance of winning!

We then proceeded to Ugandan Martyr's where we were greeted by the entire student body cheering and clapping. Each grade level had their own presentation involving a reading, skit, or song and dance.

The final school of the day was King's College which is the premier High School in Uganda. Our library there is situated inside a former chapel. The campus grounds are beautiful and we were given a walking as well as a virtual tour.

We then finished the day with some shopping and dinner at Nando's which is a food court serving things like pizza and ice cream.
